LDC-UDC ISSUE - Pay structure of LDC & UDC in various state Government

        

                  Readers are requested to please verify the pay structure of LDC & UDC of various State Governments as given below at your level and inform this Association the discrepancies, 
if any, immediately so that the same may be intimated to Com S.K. Vyas, Member NAC.

 Sub:   Revision of Grade Pay of LDC to Rs. 2400/ and UDC to Rs. 2800/-request for your personal intervention for getting a favorable decision.

 Dear Sir,

            

Please refer to this Association letter dated 06/09/2013 on the above subject. In this connection, we have collected the pay structure of the LDCs & UDCs working in various State Government offices in various States. On examination, it is found that these employees’ pay structure is better than the pay structure of their counterparts in Central Government, despite of the fact that all these State Governments except Kerala, Karnataka & Andhra Pradesh have implemented 6^th Pay Commission recommendation.

The comparative Statement of the pay of a newly appointed LDC in Central and these State Governments are given below:

West Bengal:

Besides, as per information given by Shri S. Banerjee UDC, IBM Kolkata the pay Band and Grade pay of LDC & UDC in West Bengal State Government is Rs. 5400-25200+ 2600 and Rs. 7100-37600 + 3600/ respectively.  

Uttar Pradesh:

Shri Amit joshi has written in our blog (www.aiamshq.blogspot.in) “I am employee of Uttarkhand Govt and that scales implemented from Uttarpradesh… we did one month strike for same scale like Uttarpradesh and Govt give us from Jan 2013.”  This shows the Pay structure of LDC and UDC in Uttar Pradesh State is similar to the pay structure of LDC & UDC in Utarakhand.

From the above it is clear that several of the State Governments, even after implementing 6^th Pay Commission, have raised the grade pay of the Clerical staff working in their states. Thus the demand for a hike in the grade pay of the LDC & UDC posted in Government of India Offices especially in the Non CSCS Offices is genuine.

            We seek your kind personal intervention for getting a favorable decision to revise the grade pay at Rs. 2400 & 2800 respectively to LDC & UDC w.e.f the date of implementation of the 6^th Pay Commission recommendations.
