The meeting of the National Council JCM is taking place on 15.5.10 after a very long period. On 14th the staff side will meet to discuss the strategy on the items put up. Due to our Association's efforts, an item for the upgradation of the grade of pay of LDC/UDC -after merging the three pay scales of Ministerial staff- has been put up in the meeting. We had already sent the copy of the letter to the Hon'ble Prime Minister on the matter and the copies of the work allotment to LDC by various Regions of NSSO to the Confederation. We are waiting for the out come of the meeting.
